LaTanya Young, Dr. Dre’s estranged daughter, unveiled her struggle despite being a daughter of a man worth $800 million. LaTanya took to the media and revealed how she is wrestling with her daily finances despite her father being a superstar and having a net worth of almost a billion dollars. LaTanya, who is 38 years old, works as an assembler at a warehouse and as a delivery driver for Uber Eats and DoorDash .
She is unable to spare the price of an apartment in California, and thus living in a rental vehicle, she claims.
La Tanya, a single mother of 4, speaks briefly of her relationship with her father. She has repeatedly asked for financial help with her father, but he has turned his back every time, La Tanya told DailyMail.com. ‘I’ve been working in a warehouse and doing Uber Eats and DoorDash. ‘My kids are staying with friends they are not living in the car, it’s just me,’ she told DailyMail.com. ‘I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now – I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse,” She added.
“I’m trying to pull out of financial crunches with all sorts of odd jobs. However, the situation is aggravating day by day, forcing me to sorn on my relatives and friends for money and a place to live. I’ve been facing financial obligations for quite some time and I fear that I might lose my rental car due to outstanding dues,” LaTanya continued. LaTanya moved to California from Nevada with the hope of grabbing more opportunities and earning more money in order to meet her daily needs. “There were no jobs in Nevada; the wages are lower than that of California. I have friends and family that will let us stay with them but most of the time I’m living out of my car,” She added.
LaTanya has been adjuring her father to help her out of the onerous situation she is in; however, her request has been turned down every single time because of the fact that she has spoken to the press against her father. “It’s very disappointing to see my father ignoring us and letting us down.
His grandkids are eagerly waiting to meet and hug him,” LaTanya goes on to say.
“People label me as a millionaire’s daughter and are astonished to see me working as an assembler in a warehouse and delivery driver for Uber Eats and DoorDash. Every so often it makes me uncomfortable too. I am doing my damnedest to connect with him through his lawyer in order to get help,” she added. “I just heard that he has to pay $300k a month to Nicole Young for spousal support it’s embarrassing because people are looking at me wondering: why? ‘What Nicole has got is what my mom, Lisa Johnson, should have got. ‘My mom felt like he never upheld his end of the bargain. ‘I commend Nicole in a way – she did what she had to do,’ LaTanya added.
